Tahiyra, who has just had a well-deserved two-week break, is said to be in excellent form according to her trainer Dermot Weld. Her upcoming goal is the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown during Champions Weekend.
Rising Star: Tahiyra's Remarkable Journey
Tahiyra, a Siyouni filly, has displayed her remarkable talent since her early days and has continued to improve with recent wins in the Irish 1000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Despite her only loss in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, where she finished just half a length behind Mawj, Tahiyra proved her dominance by pulling an impressive seven-and-a-half lengths ahead of the third-place finisher.
"She's in great form. She went on two weeks holidays which she enjoyed and is back in full training now," Weld reported.
"Hopefully she will head to Leopardstown on Champions Weekend for the Matron Stakes."
