Berkshire Rocco Second Behind Noor Al Hawa In The HH Amir Trophy

Al Wasmiyah Farm owned Noor Al Hawa under Alberto Sanna landed the 2400m Gr.1 H.H. The Amir Trophy defeating international raider Berkshire Rocco under Jason Watson. After easing past pacemaker Off He Goes the 8YO chestnut went up in gears on the home straight closely followed by the Andrew Balding trained son of Sir Percy. 

 

Georges Mikhalides trained Noor Al Hawa has been unbeaten this season, having won a Listed and a Group Two race earlier this season. 

 

At the post, British contender - Berkshire Rocco was two lengths and three quarters behind, while Injaaz Stud’s Hellenistique completed the top three for trainer Zuhair Mohsen under Ronan Thomas.
