On Sunday, 10th September, the Listed Garrowby Stakes at York, UK will see the return of Al Suhail, who finished third in the Gr.1 Al Quoz Sprint.
The 6YO Dubawi competitor is set to run six furlongs, marking his third European appearance this year. Al Suhail previously finished sixth in both the Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Gr.2 City Of York Stakes at York's Ebor Festival.
With his impressive track record, many fans are eagerly anticipating his performance at the upcoming Garrowby Stakes.
Charlie Appleby said, “Al Suhail looks to have sharpened up for his run in the City Of York Stakes, which came on the back of a break after Royal Ascot. It was a slightly disappointing effort last time, with the way he faded out of contention, but hopefully returning to six furlongs will get him back on track.”
