Total Performance Data (TPD), the leading provider of live horse racing data, has announced a significant partnership with the Dubai Racing Club. After successful live trials during the Super Saturday and Dubai World Cup meetings last spring, the Dubai Racing Club has decided to sign a multi-year deal with TPD. This collaboration will kick off with the new season at the prestigious Meydan Racecourse on Friday, 10th November.
By joining forces with TPD, the Dubai Racing Club aims to enhance its racing experience by incorporating live and post-race timing stats for every horse. Additionally, TPD will provide live running order graphics for the largest set of on-course screens, including the impressive new 4k big screen. This partnership further strengthens TPD's presence in the rapidly expanding Middle Eastern horseracing scene, where both of Saudi Arabia's racecourses are already benefiting from their live data services.
Will Duff Gordon, CEO of TPD, commented, “We are very excited to be further enriching the wonderful racing that takes place at Meydan and look forward to a successful partnership. I’d like to thank our engineering partners at Gmax for so rapidly delivering the live service back in March.”
Mohammed Riaz, Head of IT for Dubai Racing Club, said, “When Trakus ceased trading we were impressed with the speed of set up and quality of output when Gmax and TPD met our needs for the climax of last season. We are excited to use this content on our new 4k big screen as well as for our international audience.”
The upcoming season at Meydan Racecourse commences on Friday, November 10th and culminates with the grand Dubai World Cup meeting on Saturday, 30th March, boasting a staggering prize pool of US$30.5 million.
