Over the weekend, the Thoroughbred community gathered at Santa Anita Park to witness the Breeders' Cup Championships on 3rd and 4th November. The event showcased exceptional horses from various parts of the world, all coming together on the grounds of Arcadia, California. Interestingly, six of these contestants will soon be boarding a plane back to Lexington. They are scheduled to participate in the Fasig-Tipton November Sale on November.
The upcoming Fasig-Tipton Night of the Stars will feature Goodnight Olive, the 2022 Breeders' Cup Gr.1 Filly and Mare Sprint winner. The mare will be offered for sale as Hip 237 by ELiTE and is expected to draw a lot of interest due to her four-time Group One wins. Moira, a 4YO daughter of Ghostzapper, will also be offered by Hill' n' Dale at Xalapa as Hip 156. She finished third in the Breeders' Cup Gr.1 Filly and Mare Turf and has earned US$1.4 million. Additionally, Search Results, a Group One -winning mare by Flatter, will be sold as Hip 179 by ELiTE with earnings of US$1.94 million.
Caravel, a fan favorite and consistent runner, will be sold as Hip 210 by Hunter Valley Farm. The 6YO mare has earned $1.98 million and won the Breeders' Cup Gr.1 Turf Sprint at Keeneland last year. Le Da Vida, the Breeders' Cup Distaff third, will be sold by Greenfield Farms as Hip 41. The 6YO mare is Group One -placed and has placed in several other stakes races.
Finally, Three Witches, a 4YO filly by Into Mischief, will be sold as Hip 936 by Indian Creek. She finished third in the Filly and Mare Sprint and won the Gr.3 Princess Rooney Invitational Stakes at Gulfstream Park in October. With earnings of US$289,870 in eight starts, she is expected to attract attention from buyers.
