The upcoming three-day sale of Lothenbach Stables, Inc., will feature 849 juveniles, including 41 and 42YOs. The sale will take place on Tuesday to Thursday, 12th March to 14th March, with all sessions starting at 11:00 a.m. Buyers can purchase Hips 1 – 284 on Tuesday, Hips 285 – 568 on Wednesday, and Hips 569 – 853 on Thursday.
The Under Tack Show will last four days: Wednesday, 6th March through Saturday, 9th March. Breezing will take place for Hips 1 – 213 on Wednesday, Hips 214 – 426 on Thursday, Hips 427 – 639 on Friday, and Hips 640 – 853 on Saturday, with all sessions starting at 8:00 a.m. The Under Tack Show and Sale will be streamed live on several websites, including OBS, TDN, DRF, Blood-Horse, and Past The Wire.
OBS March graduates have had a successful start to 2022, with 363 black-type race appearances, including 118 graded stakes races and 41 graded stakes wins.
White Abarrio, a multi-millionaire 5YO horse owned by C2 Racing Stable LLC and La Milagrosa Stable LLC, graces the front cover of the March Sale catalog.
He is a three-time grade one stakes winner, having won the Gr.1 Florida Derby at three years old and the Gr.1 Whitney and Gr.1 Breeders' Cup Classic at 4YOs.
Trained by Rick Dutrow, he has a 15-7-1-3 career record with US$4,946,350 in earnings and he competed in the US$20-million Gr.1 Saudi Cup.
Race Day, the 5YO, is a two-time OBS graduate. He was sold by Summerfield (Francis & Barbara Vanlangendonck), Agent, at the 2020 Winter Mixed Sale and then bought for US$40,000 from the Nice and Easy Thoroughbreds consignment at the 2021 March Sale after an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5.
The back cover of the catalog showcases three graded stakes-winning OBS March graduates, including Muth, owned by Zedan Racing Stables. This Eclipse Award finalist is a 3YO by Good Magic who won the Gr.1 American Pharoah Stakes and the Gr.1 San Vicente Stakes recently.
Speed Boat Beach, a 4YO son of Bayern owned by Mike Pegram, Karl Watson, and Paul Weitman, won the Gr.1 Malibu Stakes in December. Jasper Krone, a 5YO son of Frosted owned by Kazuo Kato, is a two-time graded stakes winner in Japan.

The online catalog's main page features a link to a sortable master index that provides searchable pedigree and consignor information, as well as access to pedigree updates.
Under Tack videos, walking videos, photos, and past performances are also available.
