As 6YO, Rebel's Romance has enjoyed a remarkable career and claimed his fourth Gr.1 win with a resounding victory in the Dubai Sheema Classic. The Dubawi progeny has previously triumphed in the Grosser Preis von Berlin, Preis von Europa, and Breeders' Cup Turf. Rebel's Romance may return to North America, but will first take a well-deserved break.
On Dubai World Cup Night, Star Of Mystery showcased her sprinting talent in the Gr.1 Al Quoz Sprint, while Trawlerman and Siskany performed well in the Gr.2 Dubai Gold Cup. Measured Time, Rebel's Romance's half-brother, finished fourth in the Gr.1 Dubai Turf.
Knightsbridge started his 3YO season with an impressive nine-length victory at Gulfstream Park on Thursday. The half-brother to Speaker's Corner may join Nash in the Gr.2 Pat Day Mile next month.
Meanwhile, Encino, a Nyquist colt, will aim to secure his spot in the Kentucky Derby at this weekend's Gr.1 Blue Grass Stakes. Seven horses, including last season's Gr.1 Breeders' Cup Mile winner Master Of The Seas, have travelled to Keeneland for Charlie Appleby. Musical Act and Mischief Magic, who both competed at this year's Dubai Racing Carnival, are set to compete in graded races this weekend.
