Clayton Douglas recently announced that his top sprinter, Giga Kick, is preparing to make a comeback to the racetrack. The 4YO horse, who had suffered from muscle tears, has now fully recovered and is in excellent physical condition.
Douglas has set his sights on The Everest in October as Giga Kick's ultimate goal, with a possible return to racing in July at Caulfield's Sir John Monash Stakes. He is gradually increasing the horse's workload and closely monitoring his progress.
Despite the challenges Giga Kick faced due to his injury, Douglas and his team are thrilled to have him back and are optimistic about his future performances.
