Wathnan Racing has made a significant acquisition in securing Space Legend, a top contender for the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The Emir of Qatar's racing colors, in peacock blue and gold, will be prominently featured next week as a result of several notable purchases. These additions complement previous successes such as Gregory, who triumphed in the Queen's Vase last year and will now compete in the Gold Cup due to the absence of Courage Mon Ami, another horse owned by Wathnan.
Trained by William Haggas, Space Legend, a son of Sea The Stars, marked his season with an effortless win at Leicester before narrowly finishing second in the Cocked Hat at Goodwood. In addition to his upcoming race at Royal Ascot, this lightly-raced colt is also entered in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
