The LONGINES World's Best Racehorse Rankings, the official list of the world's top racehorses aged three and older that competed between January 1 and July 7, 2024, has been updated.
After their impressive performances at Royal Ascot, Auguste Rodin(IRE) [122] and Rosallion(IRE) [122] have ascended into the Top Five in the latest edition of the 2024 LONGINES World’s Best Racehorse Rankings.

Auguste Rodin secured his rating with a victory in the Gr.1 Prince Of Wales's Stakes, winning by three-quarters of a length over Zarakem(FR) [120].
Meanwhile, Rosallion earned his place in the co-fourth position after his triumph in the Gr.1 St James's Palace Stakes, narrowly defeating Henry Longfellow(IRE) [121] by a neck. Rosallion entered the race following a win in the Gr.1 Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas.
Several other Royal Ascot winners also feature in this month's rankings. Charyn(IRE) [120] is now ranked after winning the Gr.1 Queen Anne Stakes by 2¼ lengths, and Kyprois(IRE) [120] secured his spot by claiming the Gr.1 Gold Cup with a one-length victory.
Additionally, Blow The Horn(JPN) [121] impressed in Japan with a two-length win in the Gr.1 Takarazuka Kinen, and California Spangle(IRE) [120] improved his rating after a close finish in the Gr.3 Premier Cup in Hong Kong.
