Wesley Ward has enjoyed plenty of success with 2YO runners at Ascot and Keeneland winner Kaufymaker will likely blaze a trail of success. Newbury winner Gisbrun whose 6.5-length victory backed up by the clock that is hard to fault, is fancied to wear down Kaufymaker.

Braver than brave Washingtonian, Wesley Ward is back for another crack at ending that 105-year-old blank, this time with Kaufymaker, an unbeaten daughter of Gr.1 Malibu Stakes winner Jimmy Creed. The highly touted filly has to prove her capabilities on turf (all dirt form in her pedigree) and at this distance, which rates a big concern.
Frankie partners Yarmouth maiden winner Tolstoy rather than stablemate Dhabab while Ebro River has shown bags of pace in landing a double over the minimum trip including a Listed race at Sandown last time. The son of top-class 2YO Galileo Gold is bred to be precocious and should find tracking a rival crucial to the win.
