Godolphin Australia has announced their rising star, Traffic Warden, will take his place in this year’s Gr.1 The Everest, set for Saturday, 19 October at Royal Randwick. With a promising record this season, the Street Boss colt is being positioned for what could be the biggest race of his young career.
Having impressed with a stellar win in the Group Two Run To The Rose, followed by a gutsy second-place finish in the Gr.1 Golden Rose behind Broadsiding, Traffic Warden enters The Everest as one of the most exciting three-year-olds in the country. His trainer, James Cummings, head of Godolphin Australia, believes the colt is in prime condition to peak on race day. Cummings stated, “He’s come through his most recent run brilliantly, and third up he will be ready to peak Everest day.”
