The Avenues-Bahrain has signed a sponsorship agreement with Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) to support a round of the His Majesty the King's Cup Festival for the 2024-25 season, marking their second consecutive year of gold sponsorship.
The signing ceremony, attended by REHC CEO Yusuf Osama Buheji and The Avenues-Bahrain mall director Firas Barakat, underscores the mall's dedication to advancing horseracing in the kingdom. Buheji, expressing his gratitude, said: "This partnership contributes to the success of this major national event and reflects The Avenues-Bahrain's commitment to supporting horseracing, which reinforces efforts to develop this sport, leading to further success."
Barakat highlighted the significance of supporting the prestigious festival, stating: "This sponsorship comes from The Avenues-Bahrain's commitment to national responsibility in supporting various sectors and events in the kingdom, including equestrian sports and horseracing." He commended the REHC High Committee's achievements in elevating Bahrain's status in global horseracing, emphasising the festival's growing international reputation.
The collaboration aims to enhance partnerships and ensure the continued development of horseracing in Bahrain, focusing on delivering successful major seasonal events that showcase the kingdom's equestrian heritage.
