Godolphin has secured the Queen's Silver Cup for an 11th time, cementing their position as the leading British-based Flat breeder in a remarkable 2024 campaign.
The operation's achievements were highlighted by Notable Speech, who captured both the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas and Gr.1 Sussex Stakes, while their juvenile sensation Shadow Of Light dominated his generation with victories in the Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes and Gr.1 Darley Dewhurst Stakes.
Dubawi extended his supremacy by claiming the BBA Silver Cigar Box as Britain's leading sire by earnings for a tenth consecutive time. The Dalham Hall resident also collected the British EBF Barleythorpe Stud Silver Cup, recognising his exceptional strike rate among British-based stallions.
The stallion's influence stretched across the Atlantic through Rebel's Romance, who earned Champion Turf Male Horse honours at the Eclipse Awards. His spectacular season peaked with a second triumph in the Gr.1 Breeders' Cup Turf.
Sam Bullard, Director of Stallions at Darley, reflected on the achievements: "Everyone at Godolphin is delighted that the Queen's Silver Cup is heading back to Dalham Hall Stud.
"2024 was a tremendous year for both Team Godolphin and the Darley Stallions and it is very fitting that Notable Speech, by our flagbearer Dubawi, has contributed to both the leading breeder award and to Dubawi's double success.
"Dubawi continues to excel at the highest level and is now being challenged by his own sons as the future Champions in waiting. We are incredibly fortunate to have him."
