Passion And Glory returns to his favoured Bahrain hunting ground as the Saeed bin Suroor-trained 8YO seeks compensation in Friday's HRH The Crown Prince's Cup.
The Godolphin stalwart, having made four previous visits to the kingdom, is no stranger to Bahrain's right-handed track. His finest hour came when landing the His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Cup in 2023, following a gallant second in the Gr.3 Bahrain International Trophy the year before.
Despite finishing sixth in last year's renewal, the son of Iffraaj demonstrated his lasting ability with a gutsy triumph in an Ascot handicap during a fruitful British campaign.
Returning from an eighth-place finish in his dirt debut in the Listed The Entisar at Meydan, bin Suroor remains optimistic about his charge's chances.
"Passion And Glory didn't enjoy the dirt on his last start but came out of the race in good shape. He enjoys the right-handed track in Bahrain and I have been pleased with him going into this. It looks like we have Phantom Flight to beat but I'm hoping for a good run," said the Godolphin handler.
