Ifurhappynuknowit, a full-sister to the dam of Kentucky Derby hero Sovereignty, has topped the Fasig-Tipton May Digital Sale after selling for US$280,000 to Denali Stud.
The unraced daughter of Bernardini out of Mushka was offered by Knowles Farm with her February-foaled Vino Rosso colt at foot and carrying to dual champion Elite Power.
"It was very exciting to offer a horse like Ifurhappynuknowit fresh off a huge update," said Fasig-Tipton Director of Digital Sales Leif Aaron. "Timing is everything."
The digital auction saw 98 horses changing hands for a total of US$3,786,000, averaging US$38,632 with an impressive 83% clearance rate.
3YO colt Lionel became the second-highest lot when selling for US$260,000 to BBA Ireland/KAS Stables from Elite's consignment. The son of Authentic had impressed when breaking his maiden by 9½ lengths at Laurel on May 4.
"We like the way he broke his maiden by a wide margin and feel there is a lot more to come," said BBA Ireland's Michael Donahoe. "He vetted clean, and the plan is to take him to Saudi Arabia for an autumn campaign and hopefully we will see him running on Saudi Cup weekend in 2026. The Fasig-Tipton Digital Sales platform really makes the world's bloodstock market a small place. We're an Irish bloodstock agency purchasing an American-based horse for clients from the Middle East. It's seamless and extremely easy to use."
"It was a great sale, strong across the board," Aaron noted. "We sold six-figure horses in every segment of the market. The clearance rate was fantastic and there was good trade all around. Horses of racing age continue to be in high demand."
Stonetacular, a daughter of Speightstown consigned by Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, achieved US$250,000 when selling to Greg Tramontin. Offered with her 2025 Vekoma filly at foot, she is carrying to multiple Group One winner Muth.
The top yearling was a colt by Yaupon out of Dance Costume, selling for US$200,000 to Red Devil Bloodstock. Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale at Xalapa, the bay comes from the same family as multiple Group Three winner Fluffy Socks.
