Multiple Gr.2 winner Spanish Mission was acquired by Australian Brae Sokolski in partnership and the colt will now remain in training with Peter Moody.
The Noble Mission colt was third last out in the Gr.1 Melbourne Cup for Team Valor and Gary Barber and trainer Andrew Balding.
He will race for Sokolski, Ozzie Kheir, and Jonathan Rosham "and our warm circle," Sokolski announced in a statement released Wednesday on social media.
"Spanish Mission is truly a world class stayer and more importantly still on an upward trajectory with so much more to come. We will advise of future plans with him in due course."
Trained by Andrew Balding, Spanish Mission finished third to Verry Elleegant and Incentivise in last week's A$8m Gr.1 Lexus Melbourne Cup.
The 5YO colt had a less than ideal preparation for the Melbourne Cup, missing the first flight to Melbourne and his intended lead-up start in the Caulfield Cup due to muscle spasms. He then arrived on the second flight and days before the release of the Melbourne Cup field survived veterinary scrutiny for minor swelling in a foreleg.
