Gainesway Farm announced on Dec. 13 the appointment of Sherri Ivanovich as its farm manager.
Ivanovich, a Central Kentucky native, established a top-class reputation in her previous role as Gainesway's yearling manager, a position that spanned 22 years.
Ivanovich started in the business in 1984 with local farms and later worked for several local trainers at the racetrack, including Kenny McPeek. In 1990 she joined Graves Stables (later 505 Farms), working for Bill and Michele Graves.
The experience and opportunities I gained while there were profound. I not only had a world-class mentor in Bill Graves but also with Michele Graves and Angela Woods," Ivanovich said. "I moved to Gainesway and had the opportunity to work with and learn from, more of the best horsemen in the business. Gainesway has a reputation for excellence and I look forward to continuing that legacy.
