Zoustar, sire of this year's Champion European 2YO Filly Lezoo, will return to the Northern Hemisphere for another shuttle season at a price of £30,000, as revealed by Tweenhills Stud.
“We're extremely excited to welcome Zoustar back to Tweenhills for his fifth northern hemisphere covering season, said David Redvers. "He has got off to a fantastic start with his first European runners, which were topped by Lezoo’s dominant victory in the Cheveley Park Stakes. “Zoustar’s Australian stock just get better with age and racing, so we are eagerly awaiting his first European three-year-olds next year. Standing at a fraction of his Australia stud fee of A$198,000 (£112,000), he is a real coup for European breeders."
Among the 39 yearlings entered by Zoustar in the 2023 Australian yearling sale season, the complete sister to his Champion Australian Filly Sunlight stands out. The Solar Charged filly, Lot 399 at Widden Stud, is a full sibling to the colt that topped Inglis Easter earlier this year, selling for $3 million to become the most paid yearling sold in Australasia in 2022.
