Owen Burrows' Alflaila, a progressive dual Gr.3 winner, will not be competing because to an injury.
There are three horses in the race who were trained in the UAE: Fawzi Nass's Dilawar, Haider Ebrahim's Litigator, and Mohammed Hassan's Pensiore D'Amore.
After a thrilling 1m 2f race in which Lord Glitters just edged out Barney Roy, the Bahrain International Trophy was elevated from a conditional race to a Group three event in 2018.
Trainers like John and Thady Gosden, Andrew Balding, Aiden O'Brien, and Andre Fabre have all voiced their support for the race.
