The daughter of Complacent has won both of her races so far with relative ease, most recently Saturday's Wenham Grain & Seed at Awapuni when she was ridden by Mereana Hudson from last and won by more than three lengths.
Trainer Robbie Patterson of New Plymouth quickly saw that his 3YO filly Terziere was exceptionally bright. Her lack of experience is noticeable. Since I already knew how great she was, I never even put her through any kind of test. Patterson explained, "I figured taking her to the races would be a good idea since she'd pick up some useful information there.
She breezed to victory in Woodville, and yesterday's competition was only a little challenge. Intriguing and possibly the finest horse I've ever owned, she is a joy to be around. Longer term, Terziere is seen as an Oaks filly and her next task may be the Gr.3 Lawn Master Eulogy Stakes (1600m) at Awapuni on December 10.
