Emirates Renews Sponsorship of Dubai World Cup
The Dubai World Cup, one of the most prestigious horse races in the world, will be sponsored by Emirates Airline for its 28th edition. The event is a flagship race of the season in the UAE and reflects Dubai's commitment to excellence and innovation. The race will take place at Meydan Racecourse on March 30th, with a prize fund of $12 million. Emirates Airline has been a supporter of racing in Dubai for over two decades, and it regularly backs meetings at Meydan Racecourse, including the 'Emirates Super Saturday' fixture. The Dubai World Cup highlights the city's status as a destination of choice for world-class entertainment and further solidifies its reputation on the global stage. The race has seen victories from international superstars over the years, including Cigar, Dubai Millennium, Curlin, Arrogate, and the race's only dual winner, c. In 2023, the Japanese-trained Ushba Tesoro won the Dubai World Cup and is returning to defend his title.
