Jaafar Wins Junior Endurance Title In Portugal Rides

Jaber Bader Jaafar, riding for Bahrain's Royal Endurance Team, took the junior and young riders' title over 120.6 kilometres at the Portugal International Endurance Rides on 15 September 2026.

UAE Rider Tops The Open Division

In the accompanying 120.6-kilometre open race, UAE rider Hazzaa Mohammed al Sayegh finished first, with Royal Endurance Team member Loai Tariq Ahmed second and Portuguese rider Maria Prazeres third.

Hassan Points To Team's Progress

Royal Stables and Royal Endurance Team director general Dr Khalid Ahmed Hassan commended the riders, saying their results reflected months of work by the team and its commitment to the approved programme. He said the team had met several objectives through the meeting, chiefly completing the programmes set for its riders and horses, sharpening their readiness for upcoming competitions and gaining further experience through international rides.

"The results achieved by the team's riders would encourage them to maintain their efforts in the coming period, in line with the Royal Endurance Team's confirmed programme," Hassan said, wishing the riders continued success in future competitions.
