The Ben, Will and JD Hayes-trained galloper fought gamely for second in the King Charles Stakes despite working overtime in an unfavourable position, demonstrating his trademark tenacity. His racing pattern typically sees him rolling forward to tag the speed, facilitated by Craig Williams's race craft. Crucially, any hint of moisture in the track will play directly into his hands, as he thrives when the ground provides some purchase.
