Eight races worth a combined £513,404 (US$688,000) close Glorious Goodwood's fourth day on 31 July 2026, headlined by the Gr.2 King George Stakes, where Henry Dwyer's Asfoora returns to the track that has shaped much of her season chasing home Wathnan Racing's in-form Night Raider.

Godolphin send out Talk Of New York and Catullus in the Gr.3 Thoroughbred Stakes against Shadwell Estate's Yazin, while Wathnan Racing carry runners in four more races across the card, including the Golden Mile and the closing handicap. The day runs from a marathon opener over two miles and four and a half furlongs to a finale over a mile and three furlongs.

Night Raider Bids To See Off Asfoora

The Gr.2 King George Stakes , worth £170,130 (US$228,074), is run over the minimum 5f and remains among Britain's fastest sprints, rewarding blistering early pace. Henry Dwyer's Australian mare Asfoora, a dual Group One winner, returns to the track that has featured prominently in her season looking to see off Wathnan Racing's Night Raider, transformed by trainer K R Burke since being gelded over the winter and arriving in form. Richard Hannon's Haatem, campaigning for Wathnan Racing, steps up into a £51,540 (US$69,064) conditions event off a rating of 112, partnered again by James Doyle in search of black type. Joseph Patrick O'Brien's Galen arrives the highest-rated runner on official figures and will take plenty of catching, while Andrew Balding's Jonquil carries Juddmonte's colours and William Haggas saddles the progressive Crown Of Oaks for Tony Bloom. K R Burke's Boiling Point and James Owen's Ambiente Friendly round out a nine-strong field with no shortage of quality on show.

Silver Lake Leads Wathnan's Filly Team

William Haggas's Silver Lake, carrying Wathnan Racing's colours, races off a modest mark of 77 in a £43,809 (US$58,704) handicap, with Saffie Osborne booked to ride. Charlie Johnston's Folk Pageant runs in the name of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, while James Fanshawe's Room Fourteen and Andrew Balding's Zgharta carry the strongest recent form.
