I think having these types of races in various countries provides great opportunities for horses, owners, trainers and jockeys to compete all over the world.
» What were your opinion of the Saudi Cup race meeting and the racecourse? Have you had a chance to see it?
I have not seen the racecourse in person. But, the feedback I have been given by those who have attended has been very positive.
» What do you enjoy most about racing at Meydan?
I enjoy the international competition which takes on an Olympic feel.
» Which races in the world excite you the most?
The Kentucky Derby, The Belmont and The Dubai World Cup
» What are your plans for Channel Cat and King for a Day next? Who do you see as your stable stars for 2020 and where do we see them racing over the year?
Channel Cat’s next start is March 28th in the Pan American at Gulfstream Park. King for a Day will run March 7th in The Challenger Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs. Hopefully, our stable star is a 3-year old that is yet to be recognized.
» This is the 25th anniversary of the DWC. What do you think of Dubai’s rapid progress and of Dubai’s racing calendar? Which race do you remember seeing at Meydan/ And Al Sheba and who won?
Dubai’s racing progress has been sensational. My most memorable race was Coal Front’s 2019 victory in The Mile!
