Trained by Charlie Appleby for Godolphin this gelded son of Dubawi has 19 career starts for six wins and a further seven placings. From his six wins two have been at Meydan including the Group Two Al Fahidi Fort this season. He also has won the Group Two Godolphin Stud & Stable Staff Awards Challenge Stakes (2021) and the Listed Bahrain International Sir Henry Cecil Stakes (2020).
Trained by Charles Hills the Zebedee x Cute entire has eight wins from 39 starts which include three in Group company and two in Listed class.
Australian sired by Magnus out of Australian dam Tarp the gelding is trained by John Size having raced exclusively in Hong Kong. His last start was a third placing in the Group One The Centenary Sprint Cup in Sha Tin following a victory in January in the Group Three Bauhinia Sprint Trophy Handicap. He is currently sitting around $6 in the markets and is sure to have followers.
Trained by John Murtagh the 4YO filly is has shown consistency with ten starts resulting in three wins and a further four placings. Her last start was in the Group Two Blue Point Sprint Stakes finishing second behind Miqyaas. She did beat home Mooneista in July last year in the Group Two Barberstown Castle Sapphire Stakes at Curragh.
The gelded son of Dark Angel he is trained by Bedan Alsubaie in Saudi Arabia now after joining the new stable in February 2021. On joining the stable he took a 148 day break and was run twice in Riyadh for a eighth and third placing, coming in the Group Three 1351 Turf Sprint.
The gelded son of Zoustar is travelling from Australia prepared by Troy and Leon Corstens and he will be primed. He won the Group Three Gold Rush last December in a nail biter and also has a third placing in the Group One The Goodwood, second placing in the Group One Newmarket to his name after winning the Group Three Aurie’s Star Handicap at Flemington in 2021.
Trained by George Boughey he will go in to this race as deserved favourite after being undefeated during his UAE campaign, three from three including his last start win in the Group Three Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint. He beat home Miqyas in that race and will line up against him again here.
Trained by Brendon Walsh for Qatar Racing the 5YO gelded son of Street Sense already has a Group Two at Woodbine and a Group Three at Churchill Downs to his name.
The Doug Watson trained 7YO gelded son of Lope de Vega is the current outsider in markets having joined the Watson stable from that of Roger Varian in November last year. His last start saw him go down as runner up at the Meydan track four lengths behind Al Suhail. His last win was last December in a Listed class contest at Abu Dhabi.
Bred in New Zealand this 7YO Per Incanto gelding is well tried having 42 starts under his belt for nine victories. Joining the stables of Pierre Ng last September he has taken three third placings in Group company contests against the likes of California Spangle and Sight Success, who he meets again here.
The 4YO Ribchester x Suddenly colt joined the stable of Hugo Palmer in April last year from Tom Dascombe and in eight subsequent starts has two wins and two placings. His last start in February saw him winning by three quarters of a length in Doha.
The 5YO Dandy Man sired mare ran last month in Riyadh for a fourth spot in a Group Three following a 196-day layoff. The Richard Hannon runner has raced in the UAE once before for a second placing on World Cup night last year in the Group One behind A Case Of You.
Sired by the Australian Brazen Beau this 5YO gelding has lined up once for Bhupat Seemar after transferring from Micheal Browne. That occasion was a third placing in a Meydan Group Two.
One of the older members of the field here but the 8YO gelded son of Oasis Dream trained by Rashed Bouresly has faced off against a fair few of these and competed well. In his last start he went down to Al Dasim after winning a Group Two in Meydan beating home Ladies Church in February.
