The Dubai Racing Club team, consisting of four members, carefully analyzed the exciting opening night of racing at Meydan Racecourse. Their objective was to identify potential winners for future races.
During Meydan's opening night, El Nasseeb shone as he won by a significant margin. Musabbeh Al Mheiri will have to be careful in planning out the Profitable juvenile's season as he prepares him for the Classics. Despite Western Symphony encountering a bump at the start, he persevered and secured a victory for his new owners. The Shamardal gelding is expected to run along the Godolphin Mile path, but as his jockey mentioned after his win on Friday, he still has a long way to go before fulfilling that dream. Nonetheless, he looks promising as he hails from a stable that only gets stronger with time.
Meshtri displayed exceptional potential during his first-ever race, despite his lack of prior experience. Even without previous match experience, the Medaglia D'Oro gelding showed that he is a gem. Nevershow Weakness should also be commended for his role in the race.
On a night where horses who started in forward positions tended to have a greater advantage, Legend Of Cannes caught the attention of many. The 3YO Fawzi Nass-trained and owned son of Cairo Prince initially started slow, placing himself towards the back of the field. However, under the guidance of Adrie de Vries, he skillfully weaved his way through the pack down the straight and managed to secure a third-place finish, losing by less than two lengths.
