During the June 5 under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' June Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age Sale, there was a 15-way tie for the fastest one-furlong breeze. However, three juveniles distinguished themselves by breaking the 0 :21 mark for two furlongs.
One of the standout performers was Hip 187, a daughter of freshman stallion Tiz the Law, who was consigned by Tom McCrocklin, agent. She worked two furlongs in :20 2/5, earning the fastest work of the day honors. Hip 187, an April 30 foal out of the winning Dixie Union mare Southern Silence, has a strong pedigree, with her dam producing four stakes horses from her first five foals.
Another notable entry was Hip 189, a filly by second-crop stallion World of Trouble. She recorded a 0:20 3/5 clocking and was the lone juvenile to achieve this time on Wednesday. Consigned by Sweet River Thoroughbreds, she is the second foal out of the unraced Flat Out mare Sparkling Beauty, with an impressive pedigree that includes multiple graded stakes winner Prayer for Relief and multiple stakes winner Twin Sparks.
The third standout performer was Hip 206, a filly by Flatter, which worked in 0:20 4/5. Bred in Florida by Mustang Farm, she is the first foal out of the winning Put It Back mare Starship Amanda, with a pedigree that includes multiple grade 1 winner and 2024 Canadian Hall of Fame inductee Starship Jubilee and stakes-placed Starship Nala and The Flying Whizzer.
