Miami's premier racing festival, the Pegasus World Cup, is gearing up for its most spectacular renewal yet, combining top-class racing with A-list entertainment at Gulfstream Park on January 25.
The racing action centres around three prestigious contests - the US$3m Gr.1 Pegasus World Cup Invitational, US$1m Gr.1 Pegasus Turf Invitational, and US$500,000 Gr.2 Pegasus Filly & Mare Turf Invitational.
Previous winners of the flagship Pegasus World Cup include Arrogate, who followed up his success with victory in the Dubai World Cup, and Knicks Go, who went on to land the Breeders' Cup Classic.
Global DJ sensations Black Coffee and Diplo are headlining the post-race celebrations, while emerging country-pop artist Dasha is performing during NBC's live broadcast.
