Al Shaqab's substantial contribution to the Auctav Arabian Summer Sale presents an impressive array of thirteen lots featuring carefully selected broodmares and horses in training. The consignment showcases bloodlines representing some of the most successful families in Arabian racing.
Shararah leads the broodmare selection as a sister to outstanding performer Dahor de Brugère, who achieved dual success as both track champion and proven sire. The 2020 mare by Al Mouwaffak out of Dormadora carries her first foal to highly sought-after stallion Al Mourtajez.
Alamriya, descending from exceptional foundation mare Frynch, presents compelling breeding credentials. The 2014 mare by Amer currently carries to Al Mourtajez whilst nursing a colt foal by Al Mamun Monlau. Her progeny includes the full brother to RB Paris Flyght, proving successful in Qatar competition.
Almaronah represents the direct maternal family of Al Mourtajez himself. This Dormane mare traces to Macha'Allah, making her a sister to the champion stallion's dam. Currently in foal to Muraaqib, she has produced a promising filly by No Risk Al Maury.
Kaltham, a 2021 mare by Al Mamun Monlau, carries to proven sire Al Mourtajez, whose offspring include champions Al Ghadeer and Lwsail. Her pedigree features Group Two PA-placed winner Al Afreetah, emerging from a family consistently producing black-type performers.
Um Graibah brings proven contemporary success through her foal by Azadi, a full sister to both Mdawi and Um Jolag. The Amer mare traces to Koriana and currently carries her first foal to Al Mourtajez.
Mwarid stands as the consignment's premier stallion prospect. This six-time winner by Amer has achieved Group Three PA success and multiple Group One PA placings. Training with Thomas Fourcy, the 2016 horse recently finished second in Group Three PA company. His breeding represents the golden cross of Amer x Al Nachmiya, sharing lineage with Al Haffanah.
Mohtaram, also trained by Thomas Fourcy, descends from Group Three PA winner and Group One PA-placed mare Tameemah. This Azadi colt shares breeding with Al Tammtam, Listed and Group One PA-placed, alongside Qatari winners Bint Alarab and consistent performer Alhareth.
Darb represents untapped potential as an unraced son of Al Mourtajez training with Jean de Mieulle. The 2021 gelding emerges from a deep black-type family, being a full brother to both Dorfa and Fadjik.
Maarek demonstrated promising form when finishing third in the Prix Ziyadd at Bordeaux, displaying an impressive turn of foot through the final stages. The Manark colt from Al Jassasiya trains with Thomas Fourcy.
Shemlwol returned to competition following a nineteen-month absence, securing fifth place on comeback. The Al Mouwaffak gelding achieved two victories and Group Two PA placing at 3YO under Jean de Mieulle's guidance.
The consignment concludes with Mghetha, a 4YO filly by Al Mouwaffak training with Thomas Fourcy. This full sister to Group performer Lwsail traces through Alsafnah, a Qatari winner, to influential third dam Praline du Cassou, producer of Parador and Prado.
Mahsoub completes the selection as another Thomas Fourcy trainee by Al Mourtajez. His dam Al Fahda captured the Qatar Arabian Trophy des Pouliches .Gr1 PA, whilst the damline traces to grand producer Salma, dam of Al Sabaq and Al Nachmiya.
