To get in the mood for the Breeder's Cup races at Keeneland, there are many activities happening in and around Lexington.
The WKYT-sponsored Issac to Oliver Family Stroll kicks off the CHI Saint Joseph Breeders' Cup Festival 2022 and allows attendees to retrace the steps of legendary African-American jockeys Oliver Lewis and Issac Murphy.
The International Block Party at Greyline Station and the Breeders' Cup Watch Party at Tandy Park are two additional WKYT-sponsored events. After the race, come on over to The Grand Reserve for some food, drinks, and live music from the DJ.
The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation will be the beneficiary of the proceeds from both the Equine Film Festival at the Kentucky theatre and the benefit concert at Jeff Ruby's.
