For Friday's Grand Prix de Paris, John and Thady Gosden have added Soul Sister, the Oaks winner owned by Lady Bamford.
Soul Sister is the sole British-trained runner in the race. Kieran Shoemark will be taking over the reins from the suspended Frankie Dettori.
Despite Dettori's previous rides with Soul Sister this season, Shoemark recently had the opportunity to ride the filly during a training session at Newmarket's July course.
Soul Sister Triumphs At Epsom
Soul Sister's victory at Epsom secured Dettori his seventh Oaks win and his 23rd British Classic success, with a length and three-quarters lead over Savethelastdance.
Following her loss on soft ground during her 3YO debut at Newbury in the Fred Darling, she bounced back and showcased her winning form in the Gr.3 Musidora at York. Having paid the supplementary fee of €15,000, she stands as the sole Group One winner participating in Friday's prestigious French event.
Thady Gosden said, “Obviously it is the last mile-and-a-half three-year-old race in Europe and unlike the Irish Oaks, it gives you time to come back for the Nassau at Goodwood.
“The Irish Oaks is a little too close to Goodwood if you wanted to take in both races, and we are looking forward to running her at Longchamp.
“Kieran partnered her on the Rowley Mile last week and was happy with her and she has done some routine work subsequently.”
Adelaide River and Peking Opera, who finished second and fourth in the Irish Derby behind Aidan O'Brien's horse Auguste Rodin, are still in the running.
Additionally, Andre Fabre, the record holder with 13 wins in the Grand Prix de Paris, has his hopes pinned on First Minister, who recently triumphed in the Gr.3 Prix Hocquart at the same course.
