Buckaroo and Valiant King, who are partly owned by Australian interests and Sheikh Fahad’s Qatar Racing, are currently entering quarantine as they gear up to compete for top honors in prominent races, such as the highly esteemed Cox Plate.
O'Brien's impressive track record in Australia speaks volumes, as he has achieved numerous victories in significant races in recent years.
From Victories To Ascot Glory
Notably, he secured the Melbourne Cup victory in 2017 with Rekindling and then again in 2020 with Twilight Payment. Furthermore, in 2021, he added the Cox Plate title to his list of accomplishments with State Of Rest.

With just three starts under his belt, Valiant King is undergoing meticulous preparation and is anticipated to take a similar trajectory as last year's contender, Soulcombe.
In addition to Buckaroo and Valiant King, two other prominent runners from Royal Ascot are making their way to Melbourne for the upcoming spring racing season.
Saint George, who achieved a commendable second-place finish in the Queen's Vase and a closely contested third in the Bahrain Trophy, is set to participate in the highly esteemed Melbourne Cup.
