Trainer Todd Pletcher, who holds a spot in the Hall of Fame, has gathered his Breeders' Cup horses at Keeneland. On 19th October, twelve of his potential starters took part in breezing sessions as they prepare for the upcoming Breeders' Cup on November 3-4 at Santa Anita Park.
Mike Repole, co-owner of Forte, announced on Thursday that the Violence colt would be retiring from racing and heading to Spendthrift Farm for stud duties next year.

The 3YO's last race was on August 26th, where he finished fourth in the Travers Stakes Gr.1 at Saratoga Race Course. Among Todd Pletcher's dozen workers at Keeneland, Bright Future was present and went five furlongs in 1:01 2/5. Charge It also worked five furlongs in 1:01 1/5 for a possible Breeders' Cup start.
"We originally were going to work all of our (Breeders' Cup) Saturday horses tomorrow, but with rain in the forecast for tomorrow, we moved it up a day," Pletcher told Keeneland publicity. "It was a good morning, and I was pleased with all the works. They did what we wanted them to."
