At the 48th Race Meeting of the season of Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club, the Baidaa Algaa Cup was won by Khaled Al Shahania, a locally produced novice. Owned by Nasser Mohammed Kazim Al Ansari and trained by Ahmed Kobeissi, Khaled Al Shahania made an impressive debut in the Local Purebred Arabian Novice Plate, 4YO+, 1700m, finishing the race a length ahead of his closest competitor, Azooz, owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdulla AJ Al Thani. Ridden by Ivan Rossi, the colt claimed the victory in his fifth participation. Mehry, owned by Abdulla Jaber R K Al Hajri, took the third place.
The Thoroughbred Handicap , 3YO+, 1100m was won by High And Wide, owned by Yousuf Bakhit EB Al Kuwari and trained by Ibrahim Saeed Al Malki. Jockey Alberto Sanna led the horse to victory.

- Local Purebred Arabian Handicap (50-70): Kanz Al Adeed, trained by Abdulrahman Abdulwahed, ridden by Tejash Juglall.
- Thoroughbred Novice Plate: Colnago, trained by Gassim Ghazali, ridden by Marco Casamento.
- Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate: RB Paris Flyght, trained by Mohammed Ghazali, ridden by Faleh Bughanaim.
- Thoroughbred Handicap: Al Motasim, trained by Gassim Ghazali, ridden by Louis Nomis and Ivan Rossi.
