The latest installment of the LONGINES World's Best Racehorse Rankings, which highlights the globe's top racehorses for the period spanning 1st January to 10th March 2024, 10th, unveils a shared top position between National Trasure and Senor Buscador.

The joint leaders, National Treasure and Senor Buscador, embarked on their 2024 journey at the Gr.1 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes in January. In a closely contested battle, National Treasure secured victory over Senor Buscador by a neck.
Subsequently, both horses ventured to the Middle East to participate in the Gr.1 Saudi Cup. Senor Buscador initially lagged behind in the race before mounting a strong comeback to triumph over Ushba Tesoro by a head. Saudi Crown trailed behind in third place, with National Treasure finishing fourth, three-quarters of a length behind.
Meanwhile, Ushba Tesoro shares the next position in the rankings with three other horses. Romantic Warrior kicked off the year with a win in the Citi Gr.1 Hong Kong Gold Cup, triumphing by a neck over Voyage Bubbles. Rebel's Romance also commenced the 2024 season on a high note, clinching victory in the Gr.3 H H The Amir Trophy by a commanding three lengths. Additionally, Private Eye secured a spot in the rankings after finishing a close second, trailing Iperatriz by just a head in the Gr.1 Black Caviar Lightning.
