Maysara confirmed her consistent form with an emphatic victory in the Lehwaila Cup at Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club's Al Rayyan Racecourse on Wednesday.
Mohammed Abdulhadi S Al Hajri's 5YO mare, trained by Hamad Al Jehani, stormed from behind to overtake the leaders and claim the Local Thoroughbred Handicap over 1200m by an impressive five-length margin. Jockey Pierre Charles Boudot guided her to a brilliant win, completing a quickfire double for both trainer and rider.
The victory follows Maysara's eye-catching second-place finish in the Local Thoroughbred Filly and Mare Desert Rose Cup (class 2) on February 14.
Hamad bin Abdulrahman Al Attiya, QREC Chairman and President of Asian Equestrian Federation, crowned the winners.
Boudot and Al Jehani had earlier visited the winners' enclosure when guiding Saif Rashid Saif AlKhayarin's Local Law to victory in the 1900m contest for the Thoroughbred Handicap (75-100) for 4YO+. The 7YO bay gelding won by three lengths from Eng. Hassan Ali AM Alabdulmalik's Cei Connah.
Jockey Abdulla Rashid Al Hajri also completed a double on the card when steering Lekhreib Stud's Jabal Tariq to victory in the 1900m contest for the Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate for 4-6YOs.
The Abdulla Dhabit Al Dosari-trained 5YO gelding won by one and a half lengths from Nasser Saeed MS Al Eida-owned and Jassim Ghazali-trained Al Ryan Park.
The 29th Al Rayyan Race Meeting saw Maysara, trained by Hamad Al Jehani and ridden by Pierre Charles Boudot, claiming the Lehwaila Cup (Local Thoroughbred Handicap, 50-70, 3YO+) over 1200m.
The same connection struck again in the Thoroughbred Handicap (75-100, 4YO+, 1900m) with Local Law.
In the Thoroughbred Handicap (65-85, 4YO+, 2500m), Sussex triumphed for trainer M H K Al Attiyah with Soufiane Saadi aboard, while Super Mo, trained by Wasim Al Sahn and ridden by Ivan Rossi, took the 2500m Thoroughbred Handicap (0-75) for 4YO+.
Jabal Tariq secured victory in the 1900m Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate for 4-6YOs under Abdulla Rashid Al Hajri for trainer Abdulla Dhabit Aldosari.
The Local Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate for 4YOs over 1700m went to Al Fareq, trained by Julian Smart and ridden by Alberto Sanna.
Dhi Qar Zakhir, trained by Jassim Ghazali with Saleh Salem Al Marri in the saddle, won the Local Purebred Arabian Handicap (45-65, 4YO+) over 1700m.
Abdulla Rashid Al Hajri completed his double when steering Delirious Dream to victory in the 1200m Thoroughbred Handicap (45-65, 3YO+) for trainer Owaida Salem Al Hajri.
