Fasig-Tipton Digital, having established itself as North America's premier online thoroughbred auction platform, is launching into 2025 with an ambitious ten-sale schedule. Director of Digital Sales Leif Aaron has unveiled monthly auctions spanning January through December, excluding September and November.
The platform's stellar performance in 2024, generating over US$35.5 million in turnover from more than 1,000 horses, has set the stage for expansion. The digital marketplace has revolutionised traditional selling methods, offering convenience and accessibility to global buyers.
The 2025 calendar kicks off with the January Digital Sale (January 16-21), followed by monthly fixtures through August. After a September break, trading resumes with the October Digital Sale (October 2-7), concluding with the December edition (December 4-9).
Complementing the scheduled sales, the platform will conduct 'Flash Sales' throughout the year, capitalising on strategic market opportunities. These events will showcase select offerings, providing additional trading windows for buyers and sellers.
"Fasig-Tipton Digital has quickly established itself as the market leader in online Thoroughbred auctions in North America — and the sky's the limit as we look ahead to 2025," said Aaron. "We have sold more than 1,000 horses for over US$35,500,000 so far this year, and we still have our December Digital Sale to go."
The upcoming December Digital Sale, scheduled for December 5-10, is accepting nominations through November 20. Aaron added: "I encourage sellers to take advantage of what is typically our largest and strongest digital auction."
