The Super Saturday card was rounded out by the Gr.3 Mahab Al Shimaal. Earlier in the week I predicted this could become a real battle between Tuz, Mouheeb and Colour Up.
The final race of the night was expected to turn into a gritty battle in the final stages between Tuz, Mouheeb and Colour Up although it was the Doug Watson runner Isolate who began as the favourite.
Pointos bounced from the gates and straight to the lead with Tuz made to work to compete for the second spot in the run 1200m feature worth US$250,000, with Sound Money.
Mickael Barzalona pulled the switch on board for Sound Money to hit the lead and extend for a two-length win on the Bhupat Seemar-trained runner for RRR Racing.
