X Force, owned by Al Thumama Racing, delivered an outstanding performance yesterday, triumphing in the Ras Laffan Cup at Al Rayyan Racecourse. With a commanding lead of three and a half lengths, X Force secured a resounding victory in the day's main event.
In the Thoroughbred Open Race at Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club’s 21st Al Rayyan Meeting, the 7YO horse trained by Mohammed Hussain Afroz dominated the field. Jockey Szczepan Mazur guided the horse to a commanding win, finishing ahead of Mystical Music, ridden by Alberto Sanna. Millions, ridden by Olivier d’Andigne, finished third in the 1100m race.
On the same day, there were two other races at the Al Rayyan Meeting. Samuel Legrix rode Rammah to victory in the Purebred Arabian Handicap, while Rashid Ali Al Marri rode Al Addaaj to win the Local Purebred Arabian Handicap.
In the Thoroughbred Handicap, Sanna rode Super Mo to finish first. Meanwhile, Saleh Salem Al Marri rode Ready Reckoner to victory in another Thoroughbred Handicap race.
Today, QREC will host the 11th Al Uqda Meeting, featuring a seven-race card. The highlight of the event is the Al Waab Cup - Local Thoroughbred Handicap, which will see seven entries compete for the top prize.
