Binghatti, the luxury property powerhouse, is leading a stellar cast of multinational corporations throwing their weight behind Friday's Dubai Racing Carnival card at Meydan, marking their racing debut with a dynamic double-header sponsorship.
The development giant's chairman, Muhammad BinGhatti, is backing both a seven-furlong handicap and an eleven-furlong contest, expressing his vision for elevating Dubai's sporting status. Software pioneers Zoho are making their first foray into racing, sponsoring a ten-furlong handicap rated 80-100.
The evening's highlight, the Listed Al Garhoud Sprint, carrying a purse of US$136,000, falls under PHI Advertising's banner. The six-furlong dash has previously crowned champions like Gladiator King, who went on to Group Three glory in the 2020 Al Shindagha Sprint, and Switzerland, who later claimed the 2022 Gr.1 Dubai Golden Shaheen.
Daman Markets are partnering the finale, a six-furlong conditions event for sophomores, while Arabian Radio Network kicks off proceedings with the juvenile opener. PHI Advertising's commitment extends to a mile maiden and the coveted Best Turned Out Award.
Dubai Racing Club CEO, Ali Al Ali, welcomed the corporate backing: "We are delighted to have so many high-class sponsors on board for what promises to be an excellent evening of racing. That we value all our partners highly goes without saying. We thank them for their support throughout the season and look forward to their teams and guests having an enjoyable evening enjoying Meydan Racecourse hospitality."
The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by Christmas tree illuminations and Santa's special appearance, adding seasonal charm to the racing spectacle.
Samer Mourced, Daman Markets' CEO, highlighted their engagement plans: "We are delighted to sponsor the third Dubai Racing Carnival meeting of the season, an event that offers an exciting blend of entertainment and engagement for our valued clients and VIP guests. With James Faulkner, an industry expert, hosting our fun race predictions and trivia games, we aim to create an informative and memorable evening that reflects the spirit of Daman Markets."
PHI Advertising's CEO, Ali Essa, reinforced their commitment: "At PHI Advertising, we are proud to partner with the Dubai Racing Club, an iconic institution that exemplifies excellence and prestige in the world of horse racing. This collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting events that celebrate tradition, innovation, and community engagement."
